We need to do an “off-cycle” downtime for the Windows File Server that delivers N: drives, user profiles, and dept shares. The downtime should begin at 9pm on Friday, Jan 23 and shouldn’t last more than 30 minutes (in reality a lot less, hopefully). During the work, CAT supported Windows computers (desktops and laptops) will cease to function properly as roaming user profiles and other critical storage locations disappear for the duration. We strongly recommend that Windows users log out for the evening. If you left your computer on during the work, you may want to reboot it before using it next. This work is not expected to affect any Linux systems.
