That may seem like a while away, however please note the requirement for *a letter of recommendation* from a Civil Engineering professor. The Structural Engineers Association of Oregon Scholarship Foundation (SEAOSF) will be awarding multiple scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year, including one $3,500 Don Kramer Memorial Scholarship, one $3,500 Susan M. Frey Memorial Scholarship, and potentially two or more scholarships of at least $3,000.
This merit-based and need-based scholarship has been established to recognize and financially assist students interested in structures. The qualified candidate is an established local resident pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in structures.
*Eligible applicants must*:
- Be pursuing a BSCE degree or MSCE degree from an ABET-accredited program (http://www.abet.org/). - Be a full-time student and complete two terms of junior-level civil engineering classes during the academic year preceding the award. - Have a cumulative, all-course G. P. A. of 3.00 or higher. - Be a United States citizen or permanent resident and have been a resident of Oregon or Clark County, Washington for four years prior to the year of award. - Demonstrate a need for financial assistance and demonstrate a desire to practice structural engineering in Oregon.

1. Application Form (attached below) 2. Unofficial transcripts for all college-level courses, including from previous schools 3. A letter of recommendation from a CEE professor
