Hello students, Welcome to week 4; events below! *THIS WEEK* 4/21 - 4/27 Tuesday 4/22 - CEE Capstone Poster Presentation - EB Atrium, 4pm - 6pm - Please join us for the Spring 2025 CEE Department Capstone Project poster presentations! CEE Capstone groups will be presenting posters on 8 different civil and environmental engineering projects, and your questions and feedback will be invaluable to the teams as they finalize their presentations for their clients. Come check out the hard work and incredible engineering designs these students have been putting together over the past few months! Wednesday 4/23 - All Majors Career Fair - Viking Pavilion, 11am - 3pm - FREE and open to all PSU atudents and alumni, the All Majors Career Fair is a great chance to learn about potential job and internship opportunities, develop your professional image, and spark connections with employers from diverse industries to see which ones suit your skill sets and interests. Remember, employers are there because they have *jobs available*, and they *want to hire PSU students* - take advantage! See below: -- Thursday 4/24 - Wildfire Seminar Series, with Dr. Erica Fischer - EB 102, 10am - 11am - Presented by the Department of Geology, Dr. Erica Fischer <https://engineering.oregonstate.edu/people/erica-fischer> will be giving a talk titled "Engineering to Reduce Urban Conflagrations" as part of the School of the Earth, Environment and Society (SEES) 2025 Wildfire Seminar Series! As an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at OSU, Dr. Fischer's work specializes in structural design (reinforced concrete and structural steel), seismic design of steel-frame structures, structural fire engineering, and related areas - specifically innovative approaches to improve the resilience and robustness of structural systems affected by natural and man-made hazards.
