Students,

We are excited to announce an update to Upper Division advising in the CEE Department. At the end of this term, Evan Kristof will conclude his role as CEE Upper Division Faculty Advisor; his last day of advising is June 13th. We are grateful for his 10 years of service in this position, as well as his help navigating the transition to our new Upper Division Faculty Advisor - Mary Ann Triska.

Mary Ann joined PSU in Fall 2018 as an instructor teaching courses in structural engineering. With a professional background in bridge engineering, Mary Ann supplements the course she teaches with relevant real world examples and demonstrations to reinforce student learning. Outside the classroom, Mary Ann advises the Steel Bridge student group competitive team; she enjoys spending free time with her young athletic family, gardening, and other outdoor activities. She is looking forward to stepping into the role of academic advisor!

Beginning June 16th, Mary Ann will be available to help select technical electives, modify course plans, guide you towards your desired engineering career, connect you to research opportunities, answer questions related to major course content, and much more. Mary Ann's contact information is available on the Engineering Advising website, and you may schedule a meeting directly on her Advising Appointment Calendar.

We extend another heartfelt thank you to Evan for his many years of dedication as an advisor, and a welcome to Mary Ann in her new role!

Best,
CEE Department
