Hello students, 

Coral Sales Company of Portland, Oregon, is pleased to offer scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year of $1,000 each to two outstanding individuals pursuing Civil Engineering studies at PSU. The criteria for the scholarships are as follows: 
  1. The recipient must intend to pursue a career in Highway/Transportation Engineering or Highway Construction in the Pacific Northwest.

  2. Outstanding leadership qualities and participation in extracurricular activities, both civic as well as professional, will be given significant weight.

  3. The recipient must have lived in the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana or Alaska) for a period of at least six years.

  4. Students with senior or graduate standing will be considered.

  5. G.P.A. will not be considered in award of these scholarships. However, applicants must meet the minimum G.P.A. requirements for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department.

  6. Prior Coral Sales Company/Douglas P. Daniels Scholarship Recipients are not eligible. 
Each Applicant is required to submit a completed Application (attached below), their Resume, and Essay. The Applications, Resumes and Essays must be submitted to the Civil Engineering Department Front Desk in EB Suite 200, or by email to ceedept@pdx.edu, no later than Friday, October 31st, 2025 at midnight.
