CEE Juniors, The CEE Department has made an update to our program that will affect your senior year course plan. Beginning this upcoming academic year, all students planning to register for Capstone (CE 484: Civil & Environmental Engineering Project Management and Design I) in Winter and Spring 2026 must register for *CE 478: CEE Construction Management & Estimating* in *Fall 2025*. CE 478 is a new 1-credit course which will introduce you to construction management and engineering economics, which are both relevant to the FE exam and to the Capstone experience. Moving forward, this course will be required for all senior students as a prerequisite to Capstone, and will count toward technical elective credit requirements for students using the 2024 catalog year or earlier for their bachelor’s degree. Please note that this new requirement only applies to students who have not yet taken Capstone.* If you have already completed *or are* in progress to complete *Capstone, you are* not required* to take CE 478. If you are a *CECOP/MECOP student *with an internship in Fall term, we will work with you so you can complete this course.
